Spencer traction/immobilization splint systems are built to immobilize suspected fractures of the femur, ease pain and prevent damage to the tendons, vascular and muscular tissues. Our systems are easy to apply and use: their traction mechanism re-aligns teh fractured femur into the correct position, restoring pressure of the tissues back to the traumatized leg.
Davis is a one-piece traction/immobilisation system, studied for immobilising femur fractures and for pain relief, preventing damage to tendons, vascular and muscle tissue. It is equipped with self-adhering strap closures and soft ankle straps. Its unique traction mechanism realigns the fractured femur in the correct position, returns tissue pressure to the traumatised leg, limits haemorrhagic losses, and prevents damage to nerve, vascular, muscle and bone tissue. The micrometrically adjustable telescopic system, combined with the extendable upright arch and unbreakable nylon carrying bag, make the Davis an easy device to use and store.
